2. Wait for 30 minutes- do not touch your face.

After cleansing, if your skin is shiny all over, you have oily skin. If you are oily in your t-zone but dry on your forehead and cheeks, you have combination skin. If your skin feels light and flaky, you have dry skin. Lastly, if your face feels comfortable, you have normal skin (lucky you!)

You can also use a blotting sheet to help you determine what type of skin you have:

1. Wash your face with a cleanser, and gently pat dry.
2. Wait for 30 minutes- do not touch your face.
3. Lightly blot or tap your face with your blotting sheet.

After blotting and the blotting sheet is wet, you have oily skin. If the sheet only picks up oil in your t-zones but nothing on your cheek, then you have combination skin. If the blotting sheet is completely dry, you have dry skin. Lastly, if the botting sheet has minimal dampness, you have normal skin!

It requires having consistent skincare and really taking care of your skin. With a good base, you can slab on some serums, oils, or a mist to achieve that natural skin glow.

Durable Lipsticks

Another upcoming beauty trend of 2021 is lipstick- especially liquid lipsticks and stains. While we are expecting that people will continue wearing face masks for the majority of the year; this means that lipstick choice will continue to be important. Most people will be looking for lipsticks that are long-lasting, smudge-proof, and will not leave stains on their masks. In addition, many experts say the color of the lipstick will not be as important as compared to the durability of the product.
