Review
This was a very thrilling book. The story is well written and moves at a fast pace. The characters are convincing and full of unique personalities. There is a little bit of laughter, romance, adventure, and murder mystery built into the story. I rated this book a four out of 5. I love the story and concept of forbidden love as well as the internal journey and struggle the main characters endure. For this same reason, I can see how others can be turned off from reading about cousin relationships. It is, however, eye-opening and educating in that we often see such relationships as “gross” but so are in so many ways identical to what we would call “normal” relationships. I would recommend “How We Fall” to both adults and teens who want an eye-opening adventure but also want to challenge societal norms.
